CHILDREN’S WAITING ROOM

Together, let’s create a safe area where children can be watched and protected from the court proceedings and hallways.

The Valley Community Legal Foundation of the San Fernando Valley in cooperation with the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors and the Los Angeles County Superior Court have moved forward to establish a facility as a children’s waiting room that will serve as a room where children can be supervised while parents conduct business in the courthouse.

The Van Nuys and San Fernando Courthouse’s to date have made no provisions for children. In accordance with these two agencies, the Valley Community Legal Foundation of the San Fernando Valley is raising funds to continue to make sure children are considered in all the courthouses throughout the San Fernando Valley.

Our goal is to continue to raise funds so that every child in the San Fernando Valley has secure care when their parents are at court.
